IRA Donation
Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCD), otherwise known as IRA charitable rollovers or IRA gifts, are a tax efficient way to make a charitable contribution. If you are 70-1/2 or older, you can donate upto $100,000 per tax year directly from an Individual Retirement Account (IRA) to organizations like OLAA. QCDs may be excluded from your taxable income and may qualify towards your required minimum distribution (RMD). For additional information regarding QCDs, please contact a qualified tax advisor, your QCD administrator or click here
Your QCD distribution must be completed before December 31st and the distribution must be made directly by your QCD administrator to OLAA. QCD contributions can be made via electronic transfer to our account or via checks made out to “Old Lawrencian Association of Americas” and mailed to 746 Holcomb Bridge Road, Norcross. GA-30071. For our bank account details, kindly email us at [email protected]. To initiate a QCD contribution, kindly contact your IRA administrator and instruct them to make a contribution of the amount you desire to OLAA (Federal EIN # 58-2330845).
